Oh goodness...
I have been frequenting the post office lately.

Each time I mail a package, I have been buying a couple of stamps to add to my collection.
(shhh don't tell Boon...i am unemployed and that isn't allowed.)
I couldn't resist the:
- hawaiian shirt postcard stamps
- disney pixar forever stamps
- the one cent tiffany lamp stamps
I really want all of them... beautiful dragons and red lovey dovey stamps were calling my name...but today, I told the post lady, no way, jose.
Then I see that Royal Mail as come out with the official Roald Dahl stamps and I just don't know what to do with myself!!

Last week was my last with sweet baby Alex.

I savored every moment of his greatness.
We had some sunshine and a handful of lovely walks.
The first week of unemployment was prolific.
One of the busiest weeks I've had in a while. With a delightful bit of rest thrown in too.
It was nice to get lots of things knocked of my never ending list.
I am excited to see where next week takes me.

Rolling In
I heard winter was rolling in later today.
I took big orange for a quick spin before the snow came.
I chatted with the moos. I have been spending a lot of time with the bovines on the trails lately. This one was thinking that the 'grass is greener on the other side.' Silly moo. He had his head stuck in that fence.
As I was heading home, I heard someone yell from the tennis court.
I am not certain what he said. All I heard was, "orange bike!"
I looked over it was a very charming q-tip. I would say he was in his 70s.
I threw him a proud smile and shrugged my shoulders.
I swear this bike is a magnet for older men. Everywhere I go...men are close on my trail to tell me they like my bike.
If you need a date...you can borrow my bike. No guarantee that your date will under the age of 55. But I am sure it would be great conversation!
remembering
that boy has a darn good memory.
he told me that it was easy to get to know me because... i showed him all 240 pictures that were on my phone. (this was day 5 of knowing each other and our first time hanging just the two of us.)
i giggled. thinking, i probably did that. also thinking, who does that?
then i remembered when my ali from cali moved to the 406. one of the first times we hung out i made her sit down with 7 of my ginormous scrapbooks and look through those so she could get a lay of the land.
i like people to be in the know. i like to be in the know.
i know that all of life doesn't need to be documented...but if i don't document it...i don't remember it. and i like this life. i want to recall it all.
so i have:
too many pictures
several journals
my blog
every card i've ever been given
lots of wrist bands, tickets, & pieces of paper
to be able to recall it all.
sometimes i don't know what to do with all these remembering tools.
then last year i found Project Life.
i think i first spotted it on Ali Edwards blog.

now it seems like everyone is trying out project life.
some other my other favorite bloggers using this style of scrapbooking include...

and

my dear mother...
was so sweet and bought some project life goods for me this past Christmas.
everyday i dream about getting started.
but i am ready to rock n roll with it.
off to print pictures!
How do you keep track of all the goodness of your life?
Could you give Project Life a try?
